In all plastic decorating processes, the keys to a successful job is to have a smooth clean print with a fast production speed and a very small number of rejects. This is done through Hot Stamping.

The most important aspect of hot stamping is to be sure you have the proper hot stamping foil. Foils come in a wide variety of colors, as well as either gloss or matte, with the most popular being gold and silver. 

Once the foil has been chosen, the next step is selecting a dye – either a metal dye or rubber dye. Metal dyes are good for flat surfaces while rubber dyes are good for contoured services. Each one has to be treated and used differently depending on the application.

For a successful Hot Stamping job, we first need to gather as much information about the plastic you want printed on as well as its final use. From there we’ll determine the best foil and dye to use to achieve the best possible results.
